The Theatre Program is one of LuHi’s most popular and vibrant co-curricular programs. Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of roles in LuHi’s drama, musical, and Christmas Spectacular! In addition, LuHi offers a Theatre elective course for High School students to allow students to hone their acting skills.

From my six years in LuHi’s theatre program, I have learned how to be a better communicator. I have learned to speak more clearly and precisely, and how to emote better. These skills have helped me in my school life as a tour guide and a HART member, and in my personal life being able to express my feelings to people I care about.

LuHi’s theatre program is open to students in 6th-12th grade. Students also have opportunities to participate on the Technology Team and Backstage Crew!
LuHi students perform in two productions each year: a Fall Drama and a Spring Musical. Past performances include The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Radium Girls, Sister Act, Hairspray, Annie, The Diary of Anne Frank, and Shrek The Musical.
